Leonardo Ciuffo
Senior Executive in asset management, working in the capital market on projects in the areas of renewable energy, agribusiness and biofuels, as well as in the structuring, placement and management of private equity and private credit funds.
At FGV Projetos, he served as vice coordinator of the ethanol production expansion program, aiming at its export to the Japanese market, for Mitsui and Petrobras, having been responsible for the economic and financial evaluation and selection of projects. This program resulted in the creation of Petrobras Biocombustíveis and the development of several ethanol projects. Also at FGV Projetos, he worked on economic and financial evaluation in the agroindustrial, mining and financial areas, among others.
At PwC, he worked on the technical and financial assessment of greenhouse gas emission reduction projects in the mining, steel, pulp and paper, food and agribusiness sectors, having participated as a speaker and participant in several conferences on the subject for the market and for other PwC offices.
At the Brazilian Institute of Economics (IBRE)/FGV, he worked on the preparation of economic reports and financial assessments. He was part of the team that developed the Clean Development Mechanism Guidance Guide, as well as the preliminary proposal for the specification of the Brazilian Emissions Reduction Market (MBRE), sponsored by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
